Tied with last week for the shortest list! And yet again, in only one case were there any results to back up the ranking. That result was Novikov's run to his first of two consecutive Futures titles in Mérida, Mexico. For a guy who started the year at 635, and who only won 3 matches through the first five and a half months of the season (until he went to Mexico, interestingly, and won MEX F5 in Obregón City in May). Which means he has little to defend for quite a bit. Will he go up to challengers (like he tried this year) or consolidate his ranking with Futures?? Will be interesting to see

Four notable results go into this week's highs:
•Mérida - While Novikov was winning his title, Brady came up short in the women's event, losing in the semis to Brazil's Beatriz Haddad Maia. She may end up just on the outside, looking in, on the Australian Open qualies.
•Djibouti - Riley got a first round bye and then won the second round match to reach the $10K quarters, also first week of December.
•Bogota - Roldan & Morozova each won a round at the $10K that same week.
